Buffer
Create buffer zones at one or more distances around points, lines or polygons, optionally merging overlapping buffers into one polygon per distance.
Clip
Keep only the features, or parts of features, of an input layer that fall inside an overlay polygon layer, preserving input attributes but not the clip layer's.
Centroid
Create a point at the geometric center of each polygon or line feature, for example to turn building footprints into points or to label city districts.
Intersect
Compute where an input and an overlay layer overlap, keeping only those areas with the attributes of both layers, with optional field selection and prefix.
Dissolve
Merge features of a layer that share values in chosen fields, or all features into one geometry, removing inner boundaries and optionally adding statistics.
Union
Combine two polygon layers into one that keeps all geometry from both, splitting overlaps with attributes from both layers and prefixing the overlay fields.
Erase
Remove the parts of input features that overlap an overlay layer and keep only what lies outside it, the opposite of Clip, for example to drop protected areas.
